Baking and chickens occupy most of my heart and soul these days. Baking is my passion/obsession/therapy. The chickens were the result of an empty nest and my need to nurture. Their glorious organic eggs enhance my baked goods and they are now very spoiled, privileged pets of mine! I am excited to share my love of baking and back-yard chicken keeping with you. I am hopeful that I will inspire would-be bakers to roll up their sleeves, grab a rolling pin and learn from and with me…creating gorgeous works of art that taste even better than they look! Because…life can be sweet after the empty nest!
